INTRODUCTION

ZN-2 is a concentrate of high molecular weight Polyisobutylene tackifier in Linear Low Density. It is used as a cling agent to make stretchwrap films from LLDPE or LDPE.The high PIB content achieves its excellent cling property.

USAGE

ZN-2 is designed to produce stretchwrap films from LLDPE, LDPE for the applications of palletwrap and silagewrap. It can be used on either blown film or cast film process.Polymers used with ZN-2 masterbatch must not contain any Anti blocking additive, slip agent as this will prevent the migration of cling additive. Migration time for good cling properties is usually 24 to 72 hours.

Note: during production, the speeder the film get cool,means stronger adhesion the film surface is; and the more ZN-2 added in, the stronger adhesion get. Production thereafter, should keep the film in a high temperature to enhance the the adhesion as the storge time goes.

RECOMMENDED ADDITION

On monolayer blown film lines, 6 to 8% ZN-2 by weight should be added to resin mix.

On monolayer Cast lines , 3 to 4 % ZN-2.

On multiple-layer film lines, ZN-2 is usually added to the skin layers only. Addition level depends on which layer is used and the thickness of layer.

 

PACKAGING & STORAGE

Packed in 20kg/bag, 1000 kg/bag or be palletized. Keep the place dry with good ventilation. Out of direct sunlight, high temperature, rain pour and no under heavy loads.
